08/03/1819 Baptism Hannah Hagg Hannah Hagg wife of Thomas Stopher was baptised on 8th March 1819 Note: Information provided by a Stagg family researcher states: The family name Hagg may in fact be STAGG. Stagg family history research says that Hannah Stagg (b 1798, Hadleigh), married Thomas Stopher, and later had 4 children. Thornham Magna, Marriages 1813-1839, microfich #: 23 January 1816, St Mary Magdalene, Thornham Magna, Thomas Stofer (Stopher), single man, of the parish of Debenham, married Hannah Stagg of this parish, single woman, by Banns, in the presence of Charlotte Stammers (X, her mark) and Robert Brown, solemnized by Thomas Stofer and Hannah Stagg (both signed in their own hand, though Hannahs signature looks dicey). Hannah Stagg was christened on 9 Jan 1798 in Hadleigh. DHS comment - this baptism record may be a transcription anomaly from the original parish documents. Please refer to Robert Stopher baptism record.
