"Dear Sir or Madam, Well it's a long story but I am in the middle of doing my own version of a mini One Name study for the Potkin(s) of East Suffolk and tonight I stumbled across your excellent website. However, I thought I should let you know about the above record. Hannah Potkin who married Henry Page in 1792 at Debenham was baptised in 1768 at Saxmundham. The 1806 baptism record is for her son Robert born in 1785 but not baptised until 1806 - whether or not his biological father is Henry Page remains to be seen! Kind regards Jill Sumbler" |
