Village Sign | Cross Green | Keith Bloomfield, Tony Williams | The sign was unveiled on 14th October 1978 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. It was designed by local architect Tony Williams and made by Keith Bloomfield. It is made mostly from mild steel, the wheat sheaves in non corrosive aluminium. The post is made from a Suffolk grown tree and was supplied by a local timber yard. |
